At the Disco is back at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their latest effort, which begins its time on the chart as high as a title can climb.
The newly-released full-length, the band’s sixth, debuts on the all-genre tally with equivalent units. Of that sum, 151,000 are actual sales. Pray for the Wicked is Panic!’s second chart-topper in the U.S. And their second in a row. The group, which is fronted by singer/songwriter Brendon Urie (with supporting members swapping out from time to time), first reached the throne in 2016 with their album Death of a Bachelor, which performed slightly better than Pray did. In addition to their pair of leaders, Panic!

And T oo Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! stalled one rung shy of owning the Billboard 200, and had things worked out just a little bit differently, Panic! Would now be celebrating their fourth No. The band’s only full-length studio album to miss the top 10 was their debut, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, which rose all the way to No. While that album might not have reached the highest tier, it did turn them from Las Vegas hometown favorites into global stars, and it also produced their sole top 10 hit single on the Hot 100, “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” which rose to No. The two proper singles that have been released from Pray for the Wicked thus far, ”Say Amen ( Saturday Night)” and “High Hopes,” have both placed on the Hot 100, with the former growing to No. 60 and the latter topping out at the lowly position of No.
